Every app in Little Explorers is a toy first: children tap, drag and watch. Each one also has a short Lessons book (the graduation-cap button) that walks through the big idea in a handful of chapters, with a voice that reads everything aloud and moments where the child does something in the toy. Nothing is a quiz. There are no scores, timers or wrong answers, and the only record is a tick on finished chapters, kept on the device.
How it works
- Short chapters. Each chapter takes about a minute, and a full run through an app takes roughly six to seven minutes of guided time, plus as much free play as a child likes.
- Try-it moments. The guide asks the child to do something real in the toy, and notices when they do. If they get stuck, a Show me button does it for them.
- New words, named clearly. Each chapter ends with a recap of its vocabulary.
- A light-bulb for extra facts. Every app also has a Did you know? button with short, true facts.
- Private. Nothing is sent anywhere, and there are no accounts or ads.
